Job Introduction
As a Customer Engineer at ONEKEY, you will be a key technical contributor supporting prospects and customers throughout the entire customer lifecycle. You will work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Consulting teams to provide technical expertise, support presales activities, and help customers successfully adopt and integrate the ONEKEY platform.
This role is hands-on and customer-facing, with a strong focus on technical problem-solving, solution design, and clear communication. Your work will directly contribute to deal success, customer satisfaction, and long-term customer value.

Responsibilities
Presales and technical support
- Support presales engagements as a technical expert in collaboration with Sales
- Participate in customer meetings to understand technical requirements and use cases
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical deep dives, and customer workshops
- Contribute to RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, and compliance-related inquiries
- Prepare and maintain high-quality technical proposals, presentations, and documentation
Post-sales support and customer enablement
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers during onboarding and ongoing usage
- Support customer integration and implementation activities
- Help ensure smooth handover from presales to post-sales phases
- Advise customers on best practices for adopting and using the ONEKEY platform
Cross-functional collaboration and feedback
- Work closely with internal teams to address customer needs and technical questions
- Share customer feedback and insights with Product and Engineering teams
- Contribute technical input to discussions around product improvements and roadmap topics
Documentation and continuous improvement
- Create and maintain customer-facing and internal technical documentation, guides, and FAQs
- Support improvements to customer engineering workflows and tooling (e.g. Jira, GitLab, Python)
- Stay up to date on cybersecurity trends, compliance requirements, and market developments
Qualifications
- Customer-facing technical experience
5+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles within SaaS environments, including presales and post-sales support. - Secure Software & Integration Knowledge
Deep understanding of software development lifecycles and security integration, with practical experience guiding customers through technical adoption and integrations. - Cybersecurity Domain Awareness
Background knowledge or hands-on experience in cybersecurity, product security, or compliance standards is required. Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, SSCP) are beneficial but not required.

Ability to understand customer business and technical requirements and contribute to effective, scalable technical solutions. - Communication skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to different audiences. - Collaboration skills
Experience working closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, or Consulting teams in a cross-functional environment. - Structured problem-solving
Analytical and proactive approach to handling multiple technical topics and customer requests. - Process and tooling experience
Hands-on experience with customer engineering tooling and automation (e.g. Jira, GitLab, Python) to improve efficiency, documentation, and knowledge sharing. - Language skills
Fluent written and spoken German and English are required.
